Mission: Renovating an appartment and a design concept

Renovating an apartment involves understanding the unique needs and aspirations of the clients. I begin by conducting a thorough consultation to identify their preferences, lifestyle, how they envision their space. From there, I develop a tailored concept that harmonizes functionality with aesthetics, ensuring every detail reflects their personality.

​Target clients:

A couple living in the heart of a bustling metropolitan area enjoys the comforts of urban life. He loves cooking, she is a passionate classical dance teacher and admires the works of French painter Edgar Degas, especially his painting "La classe dansante" from 1874.

Concept:

Based on this painting by Edgar Degas, I am developing concept, drawing inspiration from the roots of Impressionism to create a colorful atmosphere for my clients. By combining colors, harmonies, and materials while prioritizing comfort, I aim to offer a decor that reflects the family's personality and makes them feel at home. In the painting "La classe dansante," contrasting colors emerge with turquoise walls and the white of the ballerinas and ceiling. The wooden floor adds and comfort, while the typical Impressionist technique of using brush strokes reveals reds and blacks. This artwork helps craft a romantic ambiance filled with complementary colors, blending classic elements with a more modern touch to appeal to the entire family.
